Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful experience at the hotel, surrounded by the stunning beauty of Towada Lake. The traditional tatami rooms were cozy, and the meals were simply outstanding. The location is perfect for exploring Oirase and the lake area. However, language barriers made communication a bit challenging at times, and the rainy season kept the atmosphere a bit mysterious, which might not suit everyone.
I had an excellent experience at this ryokan while exploring Towada and Oirase. The traditional tatami room was comfortable and the meals were outstanding, definitely worth opting for half board. The location is stunning with Towadako Lake just minutes away, perfect for a serene getaway. However, it was quite quiet, especially during the rainy season, and the language barrier made communications a bit challenging.
I had a very pleasant stay at this ryokan. It's a charming place with attentive staff who made our experience exceptional. The food was a highlight, but the location is somewhat quieter than it used to be, which has its pros and cons. Overall, it's a great base for exploring the surrounding area, especially for those looking to escape the tourist crowds, but be aware of the old decor and firm beds.
I had a fantastic time at this hotel, which is perfectly situated just a few minutes from the stunning Towadako Lake and near the JR bus station. The traditional style room was cozy and comfortable, making it feel like a true Japanese experience. The dining was absolutely delightful, especially the half-board option, which I highly recommend. The only downside was that the decor felt a bit dated and the firmness of the beds might not be everyone's preference.
My stay at this hotel was truly memorable, especially with the stunning views of Towada Lake right outside. The room was spacious, but the decor felt a bit outdated and the beds were on the firm side. The dining experience was exceptional, with meals that surpassed all expectations. While the location is a bit remote and not ideal for easy transit to major cities, the beauty of the area definitely makes it worth it.
